The biceps implants plastic surgery takes approximately an hour and a half to perform. The biceps implants procedure is performed using general anesthesia.

To place bicep implants, the plastic surgeon will make an incision in your upper arm or armpit. The goal with these incisions is to make them as inconspicuous as possible. The plastic surgeon is then able to craft a “pocket” in which to insert the bicep implant. Once placed, the biceps implant is secured under your bicep muscles.

After biceps implants plastic surgery there will likely be some moderate pain for the first two days after your surgery. The plastic surgeon may prescribe pain medications or recommend over-the-counter painkillers. Typically, you can resume all normal activity within four weeks including lightly working out.
